Mother-Daughter Tea, Recognition Event & Philanthropy Fair

This was our third time combining a few key events: The Annual Mother-Daughter Tea, Recognition Event and the Philanthropy Fair.

The Mother-Daughter Tea was a fantastic event with the theme, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”.  A sit down tea was served and everyone enjoyed a beautiful Tiffany-style recognition event.

Each year, we recognize our members for their outstanding philanthropic efforts to better our community and provide valuable information on our current philanthropies.  The Mother-Daughter Philanthropy Award was presented for 108.5 hours of service; 70 of our Mother-Daughter members, working as a pair, clocked in at least 25 hours of philanthropy time and earned the Heart-to-Heart Award.  Three of our Ticktockers enriched our philanthropies by performing 100+ hours each of community service.

At this event, the Granite Bay Area Chapter also hosts a Philanthropy Fair.  Liaisons highlight and distribute information about the charities we support to bring awareness of each organization’s need to our members.
